How to Determine Units
You may earn from 1 – 4 units of general college credit per participating semester. You may earn a maximum of 16 units from this program. The number of units requested from the program is dependent upon the number of on-the-job hours completed during the participating semester. If you do not meet the minimum required on-the-job hours for the units requested, you will receive non-credit for the units requested on the OWE application. You must also declare that your employment is PAID or UNPAID/VOLUNTEER and may not earn OWE units under both categories simultaneously.
