Bio: 

Ariana Paniagua is one of the new Resource Specialist in the Social Science, Education and Public Service TrAC.  She grew up in Stockton, California and attended her K-12 education in the SUSD. Graduating from Cesar Chavez High School, she moved to Sacramento to attend Sacramento State University. At Sac State, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Minor in Counseling in Fall 2017. Furthermore, she has been involved in various jobs related to social services and educating communities about resources that will encourage them to live independent and successful lives.

Ariana came back to Stockton with the hope of making a positive change in the lives and minds of future generations in her community. She started her employment with San Joaquin Delta College in May 2019 as Student Program Assistant for the Foster Youth, Homeless, and Formerly Incarcerated Student Services on campus. Now she is joining the Guided Pathways team at Delta College and is excited to take on this new journey to ensure that Delta students are achieving their personal, academic, and professional goals. Her main goal is to empower and educate every student she serves at SJDC.
