Getting Started at Delta

Welcome to Delta College, and congratulations! You’re on the path to a high-quality, affordable education.  We can’t wait to meet you soon!

Top 10 things you can do right now!

  1. 1Visit our registration page for information on when classes start and how to search for classes: www.deltacollege.edu/register-classes
  2. 2Check your Delta College email once a day for important updates. We will frequently send you information about upcoming events, important deadlines, and much more. Also, you may be contacted by your professors via email, so we recommend you check at least once a day.
  3. 3If you need help with anything, just ask! If you have concerns or questions about a class, don’t hesitate to contact the professor either during in-person office hours or by email (firstname.lastname@deltacollege.edu). If you need help accessing services, visit live chat or stop by the Delta Connect Center in the DeRicco Building. TIP: The Delta Connect Center is open until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays!
  4. 4Explore our MyDelta Dashboard landing page. From this page you can access the MyDelta student portal where you can sign up for classes, check your financial aid, and more. From the same login page you have free access to Microsoft Office products, a career guidance exploration program, video tutorials, and many more resources. Check it out at deltacollege.okta.com
  5. 5Pick a class schedule that works best for you. Delta offers both in-person and online classes, as well as hybrid classes that are a mix of in-person and online. TIP: Most online classes can be completed on your own time, when it’s convenient for you
  1. 6Apply for free money for college. Delta disburses millions of dollars in financial aid each year. Even if you think you might not qualify, you should apply. You’ll never know if you don’t try. Visit the Financial Aid page to get started: www.deltacollege.edu/department/financial-aid-scholarships
  2. 7Get your student ID card. TIP: If you also pay the $10 Mustang Pass fee, you will get free access to events and activities and discounts at local stores and restaurants. Get started: www.deltacollege.edu/delta-student-id-card
  3. 8Get involved! There are so many ways to get involved at Delta College. Join a club (or start a new one!). Attend an athletics event. Hang out with other students at in-person events all semester long.
  4. 9Take care of yourself. Juggling college classes with everything else you have going on in your life may be hard. At Delta we want to help you both inside and outside the classroom. That’s why we offer a Student Food Pantry where you can get free food. We also offer on-campus laundry and free or low-cost healthcare services, including dental.
  5. 10Sign up for MustangAlert to receive emergency alerts by text message. Although Delta College is one of the safest places in Stockton, it’s very important that you receive timely messages about any emergencies that might occur on campus. Sign up now: www.deltacollege.edu/mustangalert
