Office Assistant, Certificate of Achievement
Upon successful completion of the Office Assistant Certificate, the student demonstrates skills, knowledge, and training for employment in office related positions similar to Office Assistant, Clerk, or Receptionist. The student demonstrates his or her ability to perform a broad range of administrative office responsibilities, such as answer telephones effectively, open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail, keyboard and produce mailable documents, prepare basic spreadsheets, perform basic filing tasks, send e-mail messages and faxes, and operate a copier.
