You will read, discuss, and write about short stories, essays, novels, memoirs, and poems by Asian American authors such as Amy Tan, Maxine Hong Kingston (a Stockton native), Ken Liu, Carlos Bulosan, Loung Ung, Wakako Yamauchi, Jhumpa Lahiri, Cathy Park Hong, Ocean Vuong, Li-Young Lee, Mitsuye Yamada, and many others. The materials are eye-opening, thought provoking, and will resonate with you on many levels.
