EOPS, CARE, and NextUp at Delta College provide intensive, wraparound support for students who face financial or personal barriers that can make college feel out of reach. Through counseling, priority registration, book support, grants, and a caring community, these programs help students stay on track, succeed, and reach their goals. You can do this!

EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) 

EOPS is a state-funded program that provides comprehensive support designed to go above and beyond the standard services offered by the college. EOPS is specifically tailored to meet the needs of students who face economic and educational challenges, helping them succeed in their academic and personal goals. About EOPS

CARE (Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education) 

The CARE Program is a specialized extension of EOPS that supports the unique needs of single parents 18 years or older, who serve as the head of household, and receive assistance through AFDC, TANF, or CalWORKs. Eligible participants must also have at least one dependent under the age of 18. About CARE

NextUp (formerly CAFYES) 

The NextUp Program is designed to support current and former foster youth enrolled at San Joaquin Delta College by providing access to specialized services.
