The Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) program is an affiliate program of EOPS designed to support the special needs of a single parent recipient of AFDC, TANF, or CalWORKs.
What services does CARE offer Students?
CARE Services
In addition to EOPS Program services, CARE students also may qualify to receive:
- Specialized Instruction
- Personal development activities and workshops
- Assistance grants
- Transportation assistance
- Transportation repair reimbursement
- Campus and Community resource referrals
- CARE Swag
How do I qualify for CARE?
CARE Eligibility
- Meet all EOPS eligibility requirements.
- Student must be at least 18 years of age.
- Student must be determined by Human Services Agency to be single head of household.
- Student must have at least one dependent child under the age of 18 in their household.
- Student or at least one dependent must be receiving Cash-Aid/TANF/CalWORKs benefits.
