How to See a Counselor
Our caring counselors are in high demand! But don't worry, there are multiple ways you can get some time with a counselor, in person or online, depending on your needs. Let's make it happen.
Full Appointment
Meet with a counselor for up to one hour for in-depth discussions about career and transfer goals, developing your Comprehensive Education Plan, completing a Financial Aid appeal, and much more. TIP: Counseling appointments are scheduled two weeks early, so plan ahead!
Same-Day Appointments
Did you know you can show up early in the morning and secure an appointment for later that day? Same-day appointments are available every day but Wednesdays are your best bet as more counselors are available. TIP: Show up by 8 a.m. to make sure you snag an appointment!
Walk-In Visits
These shorter visits with a counselor are best if you need clarification on a specific issue, like whether to add or drop a specific course. For more comprehensive guidance, you might be better off making an appointment. TIP: Walk-ins are available every day, with special extended hours every Wednesday until 7 p.m.!
Send a Question
Got a burning question about an issue or problem? You can submit it anytime! TIP: This works best for students inquiring about very specific things, like which course to take in a specific area. For bigger discussions, you'll want to visit with a counselor in person.
