Federal Work-Study

Work-Study gives you a flexible, on-campus job so you can earn money for school and cut down on future debt. While you’re working, you’ll build real-world skills like time management, teamwork, and customer service that look great on a resume. You’ll also get hands-on experience, figure out what kind of career you might want, and make connections who can vouch for you when you’re ready for your next job.

With financial support from both Delta College and San Joaquin County, this program aims to provide job training and financial support for Delta students while also helping community and industry partners.

Occupational Work Experience (OWE) Program

Earn college units for the job you’re already doing!

If you’re taking classes at San Joaquin Delta College and working — either in a paid job or as a volunteer — you may be able to earn up to 16 units for your on-the-job hours. It’s a great way to build real-world, marketable skills and solid work habits while you move forward in your career path.
