In doing so, we engage the expertise and resources of local businesses to build partnerships that promote our local workforce and professional success.

Success Stories

The new HOPE Program collaboration aims to increase the number of nurses who are trained in our community, and stay in our community.

The partnership is one reason why Delta's annual nursing enrollment is up 88 percent since the COVID-19 pandemic.

In spring 2024, Kevin Lincoln awarded keys to the city to retired Delta College dean Julie Kay, current dean Lisa Lucchesi, and chief nursing officer Dr. Anitra Williams of St. Joseph's Medical Center, in honor of their collaboration. We are grateful for all of our community partnerships who make programs like this possible.
