Applying and Registering for Classes

Admissions is the first step, where you apply to become a student. Registration is when you pick and enroll in the classes you want to take. Once you’ve completed your application, your next steps are to activate your student account, complete orientation, and meet with a counselor to plan your classes before registering.

Tuition and Fees

Students pay a per-unit enrollment fee for each class they take, along with small additional fees for things like student services and health services. Many students qualify for financial aid or fee waivers that can greatly reduce or even eliminate these costs.

Petitions and Forms

While you’re a student at Delta College, you may need to fill out different petitions or forms depending on your situation. These can include things like asking to repeat a class, updating your major, requesting to add or drop a class after the deadline, applying for graduation, or asking for special exceptions when something unexpected happens. Most of these forms are available online, and your counselor can help you understand which ones you need and how to submit them.
