Donations to the Delta College Foundation are tax deductible. The Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Why Donate to the Delta College Foundation

• Provide scholarships
  The rise in students attending community colleges does not mean there are more students who can afford the cost of higher education. Donating to community colleges helps to provide scholarship money to students who cannot otherwise afford higher education. Donations to the Delta College Foundation go toward scholarships, faculty and staff innovation, and community partnerships.
   
• Prevent tuition costs from rising
  Just like any college, without adequate funding to provide students with the education each is in need of, that cost must be passed on to students through higher tuition.
   
• Give back to the community
  When people choose to work toward and invest in a college education, they positively affect the community as well as themselves. The Delta College Foundation has awarded multiple scholarships, positively impacting hundreds of students.
   
• Ensure access to quality education locally
  Having a local commuity college is invaluable because it means having easier access to higher education when you need it. Community colleges are the primary resource of higher education for nontraditional students, such as parents, those who work full-time, and part-time students. Local resources are needed for them to achieve their educational goals.
   
• A way of giving back
  Whether you give financially or by way of time and resources, donating to the community college that helped you achieve your educational and professional goals is a way to give back. Doing so can ensure that the college that helped you can continue to help others, and you can rest assured that your donation is going to a worthy cause.
