Dan Baker started working at SJDC in 2000 in the Counseling department. He has over 20 years of experience in academic and personal counseling and continues to improve his skills in this area. He is very passionate about teaching and has been teaching Psychology since 1990 when he taught his first introduction to psychology class as part of Ohlone Colleges summer school program.

Although he has a great love for counseling, when the opportunity to teach full-time became available he knew that it was time to embrace his second passion-passing on information about psychology and making it applicable and relate-able to students’ everyday lives.
