Students transferring to a California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) may have General Education coursework certified by the Evaluations Office by submitting their request to the Admissions & Records Office, located in The Delta Connect Center, in the DeRicco Student Services Building.
General Education Certification may be requested AFTER the student has been accepted for admission to the CSU or UC to which transfer is planned. The request should be submitted during the last few weeks of the last semester at San Joaquin Delta College. Certification will include coursework completed at previous colleges IF official transcripts are on file in the Evaluations Office. Official transcripts must come to the Evaluations Office in sealed envelopes directly from the other college(s).
