Thank you for your interest in the Paramedic Education Program! Please read all of the information on this page to make sure you're on track.
In order to apply to the Paramedic Education Program, you must have AND completed the following:
- Must have a valid and current EMT CA certificate
- Must have a current BLS CPR card
- Must have completed the pre-requisite courses with a grade "C" or higher.
H S 36 - Medical Terminology and Speech
BIOL 31 - Human Anatomy
BIOL 32 - Human Physiology or BIOL 33 Anatomy & Physiology
Getting Started
Follow these steps to apply!
- Complete and submit an application to Delta College.
(Be sure to make a note of your Student ID# and to setup your MyDelta Dashboard account / password.)
Apply to Delta College - Submit a Completed Paramedic Education Program Application. Students will be randomly selected to attend the program and will be notified of their selection through their Delta College Student email account.

Note: Paramedic application will be open only during application period. - Check your Delta College student email often! The Paramedic Education Program will primarily communicate with you through your Delta email address for any updates to your application status.
- You will be notified by email of your acceptance or waitlist position in the program.
- Students accepted into the Paramedic Education Program will receive an packet to complete.
- Students who are invited to join the program MUST accept or decline their spot by the deadline date indicated in the packet.
- Packet and clinical clearance must be also completed by the deadline date indicated.
- Purchase required textbooks, uniforms and supplies.
- Attend class.
