Get the help you need with counseling, mentoring, and financial aid. We'll even help prepare you to take the LSAT exam and can offer special attention with college and law school applications!

Transfer Credits

Don't worry! Your course credits will transfer to participating colleges. What's more, your application fees for admission to participating law schools will be waived.

California LAW Pathways

Eligibility

The best part: Pathway to Law is open to ALL areas of study! There are no major requirements to be able to participate in the program.  

As long as you are a current Delta College student in good academic standing (you are not on academic probation or suspension), then you eligible for Pathway to Law!

Requirements

To qualify as a “Cal-LAW Scholar” you must:

  • Be currently attending San Joaquin Delta College
  • Maintain good academic standing
  • Attend Pathway to Law activities and field trips
  • Complete all prerequisites of your major and successfully transfer
  • Successfully complete the Required Pathway Courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Note: While the program encourages a diversity of students to prepare for a wide range of law-related careers, it should be noted that students interested in becoming an attorney will need to develop a relatively high GPA (often above a 3.0) with strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills as you prepare for the rigors of law school and the bar exam.
