As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, my CTE program has given me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with diesel engines, from basic maintenance to advanced diagnostics. The combination of classroom learning and real-world application has greatly expanded my technical skills and confidence. I’ve had the chance to work with modern tools and technology while receiving guidance from experienced instructors. This apprenticeship has been essential in preparing me for a successful career in the diesel industry, and I’m excited to continue building on the knowledge and skills I’ve gained.

I got a truck my sophomore year in high school and I actually crashed it, but I didn’t want to just throw it away so I taught myself how to rebuild it. I rebuilt the engine all in my garage watching YouTube videos, then realized I could make some money off of that.
