About Computer Aided-Drafting (CAD)

Interested in architecture or engineering? The drafting program at Delta College will help you bring your ideas to life and open doors to high-demand careers!

You'll learn entry-level skills for employment in the drafting and construction industries as a manual or computer-aided drafter. Career opportunities include architectural and building design offices, as well as in developer and building contractor offices, energy consultants, and other related trades where plan reading and preparation is required.

In the end you'll have the skills useful for employment and/or to prepare you for transfer to university-level architecture programs.
