Delta College wants to make sure you have the tools you need to succeed! The Mustang Tech Squad supports the Student Equipment Loan Program and provides additional technology assistance for Delta students. The Tech Squad can answer questions about laptops and hot spots, assist students in accessing the MyDelta Dashboard, and help resolve issues with Delta College-issued devices. The Tech Squad can be reached in person, or via email, phone, and online chat.

As of Tuesday, May 20, 2026, all laptops and hot spots have been distributed for Summer Session. However, if you already have approved equipment loaned out from the Spring 2026 Semester, you need to complete a new referral to keep the current device(s) in your possession. Once approved, you'll need to bring the device(s) to the 1st Floor Information Desk at the DeRicco Student Services Building, along with your ID and a copy of the approval email, for a tech to confirm the equipment is in good working order for the upcoming session.

Student Equipment Loan Program

Did you know Delta College students can borrow a laptop and/or hot spot for free through our Student Equipment Loan Program? Please note that due to limited inventory, this service is available while supplies last

 

Here's how the Student Equipment Loan Program works:

  • First, please contact your Academic Advisor for a referral. You can do this by using the following form:

    Start Your Request for a Technology Loan

  • You will receive a tech loan confirmation email from techloan@deltacollege.edu. That email will include information about pickup days and hours at the DeRicco Student Services Building. 
    Note: You will need to bring your Delta College Student ID and a copy of the approval email (print or electronic) with you.
  • To qualify, you must be enrolled in credit courses for the 2026 Summer Session and you must have returned any prior technology loan equipment that you borrowed.
     

     

Important Dates

  • Student Equipment Loan Returns for Spring 2026 and earlier are past due. Please immediately return outstanding equipment.
  • Student Equipment Loan Pickup for Summer 2026 starts Tuesday May 25, 2026. Location and time will be sent via email to those students whose equipment is ready for pickup. Please do not come to the DeRicco Information Desk until you receive the pick-up email notification.
  • Student Equipment Loan Returns for Summer 2026 are due Friday, July 21,2026 at 3:00 p.m at the 1st Floor Information Desk, DeRicco Student Services Building.
