Delta's Correctional Science program prepares students to thrive as empathetic and professional correctional officers, jailers, detention officers, probation officers, and parole agents.
Depending on your goals, you can prepare for a career right away, or transfer to a four-year college or university.
This program is fully online and available to those pursuing entry level positions as well as those already employed in the correctional field seeking career and pay advancement. Students can also get credit for prior learning, saving time and money on their educational path.

Through engaging coursework, expert instruction, and real-world scenarios, our program prepares you for careers in corrections, law enforcement, forensics, criminal justice research/ management, legal studies for prosecutorial or jurist careers, or criminology. With an Associate in Science for Transfer degree, among other options, you can start your journey at Delta College and transfer seamlessly to California State University, opening the door to careers across local, state, and federal law enforcement, probation, parole, and correctional agencies.
