Congratulations! You may be eligible to enroll in San Joaquin Delta College's Puente Program. Puente begins a new cohort every Fall. Complete these steps during the Spring or Summer in order to enroll in our next cohort:
Steps for New Delta College Students
1. Apply to Delta
If you are a new student, you will need to apply online and complete the enrollment steps for Delta College. For application assistance, visit our Delta Connect Center in DeRicco Building.
2. Attend a Puente Information Session
Information Sessions cover eligibility requirements, events, and activities, and the various community involvement opportunities you will be involved with as a Puente student. Information sessions are held in June and July for the next Fall cohort.

Students interested in joining Puente for Fall 2026 MUST ATTEND an information session and meet with the Puente Project Counselor. Spots fill quickly…early sign up is encouraged.
3. Meet With a Puente Counselor
