Artist Statement:

The artwork “Robert Delaney” is a low fire glazed ceramic on a cone 1 sculpture, this is for the strength of the sculpture.  I have used a motion of clay forms to convey a sense of personality. Color for expressive emphases, and gestural form to express more of a life presence.  This sculpture is from my ongoing interest of expressive gesture and Expressionism, and of other Modern Art Ideals. I strive to a concept of Modern Art ‘s artistic movements that comply to my interests, as I strive for my method of clay handling.  “Robert Delaney” is a moment of moving forms and color to accomplish a personality in clay.
