Delta’s noncredit programs are designed to eliminate barriers and open doors. Whether you're starting over, starting fresh, or starting something new, our free, zero-unit classes help you build skills, earn certificates, and prepare for work or college, without the pressure of grades, GPAs, or tuition.

Career Skills, Tuition Free

Noncredit classes are tuition-free, carry no academic credit, and don’t affect your GPA. They’re designed to be low-risk, high-impact opportunities to move forward at your own pace. You can repeat courses as needed and focus on skill-building without worrying about letter grades.

  • TIP: In many cases, noncredit classes also use zero-cost textbooks or materials. However, this may vary; some classes may require students to purchase a textbook or specific supplies. Check course details before enrolling.

Noncredit Programs Pay Off

Students who enroll in short-term, job-focused programs through noncredit community college programs see modest but meaningful earnings gains, and are more likely to have a job after training, according to a study published in November 2025 by Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Educational Research Association.
