More Info
The library is a big place, with lots of books, technology, and other resources! Here's how to get started. And don't worry; you can always ask a librarian for help.
Search for what you need
The first thing you can do is search the library catalog for books, articles, videos, and more:
Or, you can do either of the following:
Reference Desk
Can't find what you're looking for? Visit the Reference Desk at Goleman Library for:
- Research questions
- Help with the online catalog and database
- Submitting an Interlibrary Loan request (borrowing from another library)
The reference desk at the main campus Goleman Library is on the second floor.
LibGuides
This online resource is a research guide for specific classes and subjects. LibGuides can help you understand how to use the library and other information materials.
Interlibrary Loans
If Delta College doesn't have the materials you need, you can request books and articles via Interlibrary loan.
To request an Interlibrary loan, contact a librarian at libref@deltacollege.edu, or stop by the Reference Desk.
Items may take two weeks (or more) to arrive.
Special Collections
The Library Special Collections and Archives includes college yearbooks, sabbatical reports, board meeting minutes, course catalogs, and scrapbooks. Some of these materials are available online now, and more are planned to be added.
Not Finding What You Want?
You can always suggest a purchase! Feel free to submit your suggestions for a book, journal, database, e-book or other resources that you feel would be a good addition to the Library.
