Students studying math

Nervous about taking math or English? You're not alone.

Not everyone loves math. And not everyone feels confident about writing essays.

But here's something worth remembering: You don't have to be a math whiz or a great writer to get started. These are skills you can build, and Delta has people who can help you build them.

Don't let one class stand between you and your goals!

Support in the classroom

If you think you could use a little extra help, consider taking math and English courses that include an additional 1-unit corequisite support class. You'll get extra guidance and support from your peers right in the classroom to help you succeed!

If you need help picking the right class, see a counselor.

Don't worry! There's also help outside the classroom. Delta College offers free peer tutoring in both math and English, in person or online. Whether you have a quick question or need more one-on-one support, you'll find friendly faces ready to help you succeed.
