The District currently offers membership to eligible employees in either the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) or the California State Teachers Retirement Sytem (CalSTRS.) The CalPERS and CalSTRS website will provide employees with useful information regarding retirement options along with the required forms.
Additionally, employees may participate in other retirement investment options by participating in a variety of 403(b) plans or the District's 457 plan through Empowe. rA comprehensive review of approved 403(b) vendors is provided by CalSTRS through the 403bcompare website. Employees interested in contributing to a designated 403(b) must submit a Salary Amendment Agreement (SAA). Please visit the dedicated site for San Joaquin Delta College via Tax Deferred Solutions for additional information. SAA’s can be submitted online through the secured portal.
