Get a Jump Start on College
Take courses offered at Delta College while in high school or in adult education school as a College Early Start student, if you meet prerequisites. You may take "regular" Delta classes on campus or online. College Early Start allows you to take courses for college credit only. Each school determines whether high school credit will be granted for classes completed at Delta. You pay no tuition or fees, but you are responsible for the cost of textbooks and class supplies. May take up to 11 units per semester.

- Unit Limit Per Term – Students may register for up to 11 units per semester as a College Early Start student.
Program Eligibility
To enroll in the Delta College College Early Start Program, you must:
Have High School Enrollment Status – You must be an active high school student (usually grades 9–12) while seeking to enroll in Delta College courses.
Meet Prerequisites – Must satisfy course prerequisites for any college class you wish to take (e.g., placement, prior coursework).
Complete College Early Start (CES) Form – You must complete and submit the College Early Start (CES) form each term with required signatures (student, parent/guardian, and high school authorized signer).
Obtain Registration Clearance – After the CES form is processed, you will be cleared to register for courses online on or after your assigned registration date.
