Professor Joel Blank and Professor Cirian Villavicencio were selected as joint fellows for the Stanford Education Partnership for Internationalizing Curriculum (EPIC) Community College Faculty Fellowship Program for the 2024-25 academic year regarding their topic “Beyond the Nation-State: Enhancing Local Governance through Sister Cities Partnerships.”

Dr. Blank and Dr. Swanson receiving the Cal LAW Pathways Education Pathway Award for outstanding Pre-Law Program of 2025. Cal Law Pathways, a program to mentor students for a possible legal career, is composed of the California Community College, University of California, California State University systems and many private colleges such as USC, Loyola, Pepperdine, and Chapman.
