About Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA)

Dream of a career caring for others? Delta’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is a great first step and can lead to even greater opportunities in the future. With just 10 weeks of classes and clinicals, the CNA program will prepare you with entry-level skills to work in hospitals, inpatient mental health facilities, and clinics. When you’ve finished the program, you’ll be ready to complete state certification exams. While job prospects as a CNA are good, you’ll also be well positioned to pursue future opportunities as a psych tech or registered nurse, among other possibilities.

Delta also offers a Home Health Aide Certificate course (HS71) that will prepare you to provide care and assistance to people in their homes. You must either hold a CNA certificate or be enrolled in the CAN course (HS 70).
