The Collegian is Delta College’s award-winning student newspaper and website, deltacollegian.net. The paper is published five to six times a semester by students in the MCOM 11 and MCOM 12 courses. As a First Amendment newspaper, Collegian prides itself on a commitment to reporting the stories that impact the students of Delta College. The staff reinvigorates the credo that the newspaper represents the campus body, checks abuses of power and stands vigilant in the protection of democracy and free speech.

Collegian has earned numerous awards from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges, the Associated Collegiate Press, the California College Media Association, and the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
