History is indispensable to the survival and proper functioning of our self-governing civic institutions. The people must be informed and have the intellectual tools necessary to process information so they can participate responsibly as adult citizens and residents and better understand those of different backgrounds.
Delta College's history program will help you develop research, writing, analysis, and communication skills. You'll develop a strong base of knowledge and skills that will serve as a foundation for further study.
