Delta's Interior Design program prepares you to enter the design field with the knowledge, technical skills, and creative vision needed to succeed. As part of your degree or certificate, students build professional portfolios that highlight their ability to create safe, functional, and aesthetically appealing spaces.
These portfolios demonstrate mastery of industry-standard tools such as CAD, detailed floor plans, and presentation boards that include color palettes, textiles, furniture layouts, and cost estimates. Each project reflects the student’s ability to transform design concepts into real-world solutions.
Samanta Lo
Samantha has been in the Interior Design program for a year and using CA software for only 6 months! She produced this project in the Residential Interior Design class. The students are given a house floor plan with exterior walls only and an architectural/design style, as well as a description of the clients. They have to plan all of the required spaces, designating walls, doors, windows, flow, and design every space.
Samantha's assigned design style was Mediterranean-Spanish. She created this exotic interior design that features modern and unexpected design elements.
Emmaline Rinehart

Emma's design style was Victorian. She took a modern perspective of Victorian and produced a very eclectically designed home for a family.
