Electronics Technology

The Electronics Technology - Manufacturing Associate Certificate of Achievement prepares students for entry-level positions as operators, technicians, and supervisors in the manufacturing and production industry. This program provides hands-on training in key areas such as electronics, safety, quality control, and industrial processes, ensuring students develop the technical skills required in modern manufacturing environments. Students will complete a core set of courses focused on fundamental manufacturing principles and safety standards, while also selecting from a range of electives to specialize in areas such as welding, machining, robotics, computer-aided design, and industrial control systems. Graduates will be equipped with practical skills in operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to efficient production processes, meeting the evolving demands of the industry.

Upon successful completion of the Basic Electronics Technician Certificate of Completion, students will demonstrate skills, knowledge, and training for entry-level employment or career advancement in fields where analyzing and testing electronic circuit devices is standard practice. The course sequence is designed to meet the skills and training needs of employers and to prepare students for technical employment.

The Electronics Technology Program provides students with theoretical background and practical experience in meeting the technical requirements of electronics and industrial technology.
