About Dance

Whether your dance style is modern, classical, jazz, or world, you'll learn the skills and knowledge you need with Delta's Dance program.

Dance is a way of understanding and depicting humanity.Through movement forms; dance illustrates and communicates experiences, concepts, malaise and values of society with a care for aesthetic values.

You'll master physical and technical dance skills, as well as how to research, analyze, and interpret dance in various contexts. The lifelong skills you'll learn include communication, a strong work ethic, teamwork and more.

Those who are pursuing a career may choose to complete an Associate in Arts degree and then transfer to a California State University (CSU) with a major in dance.
