Anthropology will introduce you to the physical evolution of humans from the earliest hominin forms to modern groups. You'll also be introduced to the study of archaeology and learn the techniques and methods used at excavation sites
Sociology is the systematic study of human behaviors and human society. Sociologists study a wide range of subject matters including family and marriage, race, immigration, gender, poverty and inequality, and much more.
Either program can lead to an Associate Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, designed for the student planning to transfer to a four-year college or university.
