Stockton Institute for Continued Learning (SICL - pronounced "cycle") is an all-volunteer organization that provides lifelong learning opportunities in our community. Formed in 1998 in partnership with San Joaquin Delta College, SICL offers weekday workshops and day tours during the fall and spring terms. Some offerings are held on the Delta College campus, others explore off-campus sites in our local area, and some are online using Zoom. There are no tests, grades, or credits… just learning fun!
Lifelong Learning Through SICL
SICL offers something for everyone. It provides new opportunities to engage in learning, develop hobbies, and make friends. Interesting workshops are offered in a variety of areas, including the arts, personal fitness, games, history, crafts, cooking, gardening, self-improvement, music, literature, and film. Day tours use chartered buses to visit museums, attend theater plays, or explore interesting venues outside our county.
