The Professional Development Center fosters a culture of learning and growth across Delta College. It offers high-quality programs and services that promote access, student success, and positive learning outcomes while supporting excellence, innovation, service, and leadership among faculty, classified professionals, and managers.

Technology and Software Support

• Training on Canvas LMS, instructional tools, and best practices in online teaching.
• Webinars, Flex-eligible workshops, and customized consultations.
• Technical support for faculty and staff.

Instructional Support and Course Development

• Guidance on Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) and accreditation compliance.
• Best practices for equity-minded and inclusive course design and UDL.
• Supportive Peer Online Course Review (POCR) program.
• Assistance with making online course materials accessible.

Recording Studio (NEW!)

• A dedicated space for creating high-quality instructional videos.
• Access to professional-grade equipment for lecture recordings, video demonstrations, and multimedia content creation.

Equipment and Workspace
