Early College Pathway Recruitment

Early College Pathways (ECP) is a partnership between San Joaquin Delta College, participating high schools, and middle school districts. Through ECP, participating students earn college credits in a cohort-style learning environment, leading to completion of a two-year associate degree and the completion of lower division general education for the University of California and California State University systems.

In short, ECP allows students an early start in earning college units, gaining college readiness skills, and saving their families time to graduation and money!

How Recruitment Works

  • The ECP program reaches out to school districts, beginning with the middle schools. Districts work with our representatives to start the recruitment process via web based virtual information sessions and email recruitment campaigns.
  • The target population is eighth-grade students interested in gaining college units for competitive college admissions.
  • Once identified, we work with students to get them ready to start taking college courses at Delta in the fall of their freshmen high school year.
  • We provide wrap-around counseling and support services to help them succeed.  We also coordinate information with your high school counselors to help our mutual ECP students get the most out of our program.

Do you represent a high school district interested in partnering with us? Contact our ECP Coordinator at (209) 833.7900 or email us at mhcampus@deltacollege.edu. We look forward to partnering with you in the near future.
