April 24, 2024—At its April 24th meeting, the Curriculum/Instruction Project Team was updated on the 46 gender-neutral policy changes on the consent agenda for the May 7 Board of Trustee meeting. The next steps for the Mentorship project were discussed. The VPI, the Academic Senate and SJDCTA Presidents, and the Faculty Professional Growth Committee Chair intend to meet over the summer to design a faculty mentorship program. The CIPT was given an update on the Strategic Enrollment Management Group, including details about the Chancellor's Office program in which Delta was selected to participate. Finally, the CIPT discussed moving forward with creating an equity-focused curriculum handbook.
