On the top of the page choose AA or AS degree Applications and Checklists, click the appropriate Academic Year and the degree information you are seeking. For a AA/AS specific to a certain area, click on the Area of Concentration Link and browse for your area of interest. Those will be the classes you need to take IN ADDITION TO the general AA/AS requirements.
MACHINE SHOP TECHNOLOGY
This course of instruction will provide the necessary knowledge and skills associated with lathes, milling, grinding machines, drill presses, sawing machines, and other common machinery in the modern machine shop. The student will also learn how to use measuring tools and instruments. The students will use computers to gain the ability to write and execute programs associated with computer numerical control (CNC) lathes and milling machines.
A Certificate is offered in this program. To learn more call the Division office or refer to the catalog and / or the current schedule of classes.
