Fluid Power is concerned with the use of pressurized fluid in a confined system to accomplish work using liquid in a hydraulic system and air in a pneumatic system. Fluid power is widely used in agricultural machines, aircrafts, and automobiles. Upon successful completion of the Fluid Power and Automation program, students demonstrate skills, knowledge and training for Power Society certification exams for fluid power mechanics, technicians, and specialists and entry-level employment. Additionally, completion of the Fluid Power and Automation Technology A.S. Degree, will prepare you to transfer to a four-year Bachelor's Degree program.
