Why should I attend an Orientation?

Orientations cover eligibility requirements, events and activities, and the various community invovlement opportunities you will be invovled with as a Puente student.

Do I need to sign up or register for an Orientation?

No.  All you have to do is refer to the Orientation calendar and show up to the date and time that is convenient for you.

Is there anything I need to do before I attend an Orientation?

Yes!  You must complete the following:

• San Joaquin Delta College's online admissions application.  The application is available online at www.deltacollege.edu or by clicking here.  For assistance with the application please visit our Student Services Lab in Goleman 128).
• ACE Assessment.  Click here for the current ACE calendar.  You will need to bring your assessment scores with you to the Puente Orientation.
• Receive a level II score on both "Reading" and "Composition" ASSET or COMPASS assessments.
