Citizens’ Oversight Committee Member

San Joaquin Delta College will be seeking applications from qualified citizens for the 2012-2014 term to fill two (2) “At-Large”, one (1) Taxpayer, one (1) Foundation, one (1) Senior, and one (1) Student positions on the Measure L Bond Citizens’ Oversight Committee.  The Committee is responsible for reviewing expenditures related to the College’s $250 million general obligation bond, Measure L, which was approved by voters on March 2, 2004.

The Citizens’ Oversight Committee consists of at least nine members. Committee members must reside in the San Joaquin Delta Community College District, be 18 years or older, and may not be an employee, vendor, contractor or consultant for the District.

Committee responsibilities will include: Reviewing quarterly expenditure reports produced by the District; informing the public concerning the District’s expenditure of bond proceeds, and presenting an annual report to the Board of Trustees.
