Student Success Academy

An EOPS Learning Community

The Student Success Academy (SSA) is an 8 unit EOPS learning community designed to promote academic success and personal growth while exploring certificate, degree & transfer options, which will be held online for Fall 2020. Students who participate in SSA will enroll in the following courses:

  • COUN 8: Education and Interpersonal Growth (3 units)
  • COUN 19: Orientation to College (1 unit)
  • COUN 30: Career Self Assessment (1 unit)
  • COUN 31: Career Exploration (1 unit)
  • ENG 33A: Study Skills for Success in College (2 units)

The EOPS SSA is open to all Delta College student wishing to enroll. Due to the limited number of available spaces in the Academy, priority in the admission process is given to students:

  1. Qualifying for EOPS
  2. First-time college students

*Must have "unmet need", determined by Delta's Financial Aid Office
