Thuy Nguyen

Thuy Nguyen is our new Resource Specialist in the Communication and Languages TrAC.  As a Resource Specialist, Thuy will have direct contact with faculty and resources to assist students during their academic pathway to successfully complete their program.

Thuy was born in Vietnam and raised in Stockton, California. She is was a first-generation and low-income college student that started her college journey at San Joaquin Delta College. She later transferred to CSU, Sacramento where she received her Bachelor's in Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources.

Thuy worked at the Financial Aid Program for over 13 years. Prior to her recent promotion to a Resource Specialist, Thuy was an Academic Advisor in the CalWORKs department, serving our student parents population. Thuy is passionate about working directly with students and helping them achieve their educational and life goals.
