What is HECCC?

Established in 1981.

Facilitates systematic sharing of resources to ensure an accessible quality education for students.

First formally chartered consortium of regional community colleges that includes a California State University and University of California.

The HECCC Council consists of the institutions' presidents and meets twice a year with the Executive Board.

HECCC Executive Board consists of the institutions' academic vice president and meets monthly.

Committees of specialized faculty groups and administrators meet regularly to solve targeted problems or work jointly on specific projects.

The Executive Director works in concert with the Council and Executive Board to manage, coordinate, communicate, and facilitate, all projects and activities.
