The functions of the Shipping and Receiving area include the shipping and receiving of merchandise purchased by the District. The deliveries are inspected, checked against the purchase order and delivered to the appropriate department.
Shipments that come in on a daily basis and need to be checked-in include U.S. Mail, UPS, Fed-Ex, Airborne, RPS, and freight deliveries.

Another function of this area is to prepare packages/shipments that need to go out on a daily basis via UPS, Fed-Ex, Airborne, RPS or freight.
