Languages, Library, and Learning Resources Division

We are committed to serving our diverse campus community with courses in English composition, English as a second language, literature, reading, foreign languages, and information literacy.  Visit Goleman Library to study and, while you are there, check out some books or ask one of our librarians to show you how to find the information you need for your course assignments. In our learning centers, you will find tutors who are skilled at helping you to deepen your learning and acquire new strategies for success.

Our Programs


About the Division

The Languages, Library, and Learning Resources Division consists of 11 departments and several programs. There are approximately 35 full-time and more than 100 part-time instructors, 8 classified staff, and the Division Dean. Together, these programs and services meet the College's missions of providing transfer education, vocational education, basic skills preparatory education, non-credit community education, and academic support services.
