The District is hereby providing notification to you of a potential worksite exposure to COVID-19 pursuant to AB 2693 and Cal OSHA COVID-19 Prevention Non-Emergency Regulations. On February 3, 2023, the permanent General Industry Safety Orders (“Permanent Standards”) concerning COVID-19-related workplace health and safety requirements[1] took effect. The Permanent Standards, which replace the Emergency Temporary Standards (“ETS”), will remain in effect for two (2) years, unless the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board (“OSHSB”) repeals or extends the regulations.
