Student Email Sync

This setup information is meant to act as a general guide and there is no guarantee it will work with all devices. If you are unable to connect after following these directions, you can still access your email by going to the Delta Student Email page.

For iPhone

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendar
  3. Tap Add Account
  4. Select Other
  5. Add Mail Account
  6. New Account Information:
    • Name: First, Last
    • Email: Your Delta College Email including @students.deltacollege.edu
    • Password: Your Delta College Email Password
    • Description: It will automatically prefill
    • Tap Next
  7. Make sure IMAP is highlighted
  8. Incoming Mail Server
    • Host Name: students.deltacollege.edu
    • Username: first portion of your email (i.e. jsmith001)
    • Password: prefilled
  9. Outgoing Mail Server
    • Hostname: students.deltacollege.edu
    • Username: first portion of your email
    • Password: Your Delta College Email Password
    • Tap Next
  10. Select Save. Your account is added.

For Android

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Select Accounts
  3. Open Add Account
  4. Select Emails
  5. Set-up Email:
    • Email: Your Delta College Email including @students.deltacollege.edu
    • Password: Your Delta Email Password
    • Tap Next
  6. Select Manual setup or Next
  7. For Account Type, choose IMAP account
  8. Under Incoming Server Settings:
    • IMAP server: students.deltacollege.edu (remove "imap.")
    • Username: Your Delta College Email
    • Password: Your Delta College Email Password
    • Security type: SSL
    • Port: 993
    • Tap Next
  9. Under Outgoing Server Settings:
    • SMTP server: students.deltacollege.edu (remove "smtp.")
    • Security type: SSL
    • Port: 465
    • Tap Next
  10. If there is an Alert or Error message, continue by selecting Next.
  11. Select your preferences (mark the sign-in required box) and choose Done. Your account is added.
